William R. Collier, CPA, MST - Vice President
In his role as Vice President and Tax Partner-In-Charge, Bill Collier manages the firm’s tax operations, internal financial reporting and new business development. He applies his highly skilled expertise developing internal standards governing the delivery of tax services to clients and maintains a close pulse on the regulatory controls impacting client services. In addition to managing a large staff of tax professionals, Bill makes himself available to clients in need of specialized tax planning and consulting guidance. He values the firm’s diverse client base ranging from individuals to large, multi-faceted organizations.Bill spent nearly a decade with the two largest international accounting firms in the world encompassing both audit and tax and achieving the rank of Senior Manager. Throughout the course of his career, he served as the primary tax advisor on hundreds of business acquisitions. His expertise also includes mergers, international tax, non-profits, and individual taxation. He has developed a specialty in the service of owner-managed companies and advisement relating to the day-to-day tax questions arising out of business operations.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Grove City College and a Masters in Taxation from Robert Morris University. He served the community as an adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Accounting at Carnegie Mellon University and on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for the YMCA.
